This is an excellent paper. In sum I think it will appeal to an inter-disciplinary community precisely because it balances cultural critique with political analysis. It also problematizes how the US deals with the first amendment and the arts without getting to strident or off in a conspiracy theory. I highly suggest this paper for publication.—Peer Reviewer

I enjoyed reading this paper several times. The author addresses cultural and artistic issues that gnovis should include more often—like in the upcoming issue.—Peer Reviewer
